THE BEMIDJI DAILY PIONEER PUBLISHED NVERY AFTHRNOON, BEMIDJI PIONEER PUBLISHING CO. By CLYDE J. PRYOR. Entered in the postofice at Bemidjl. Minn., a8 second class matter. SUBSCRIPTION---$5.00 PER ANNUM HOW ABOYUT THE SCHOOL ELECTION? In another column of this ‘ssue of the Pioneer will be found a com- munication from W. A. Gould of this city relative to the election to be held on Wednesday next, for the purpose of voting the bonds of the Independent School District of Bemidji for the purpose of erect- ing a high school building on the site which the school board recently acquired. As this matter of calling an election every little while is an ex- pensive proceeding, the Pioneer would like to have as full an expres- sion of the sentiment of the vot- ers of the district as possible. We will publish opinions on the sub- ject, so long as the communications do not exceed in length that handed in by Mr. Gould. Let’s decide this matter with a full understanding of the conditions that prevail. “BOYS” AND “GIRLS” WILL BE ROYALLY ENTERTAINED. The News and Comment substi- tute who was working for Mary Mc- Fadden, the other day, says of the Great Northern Editorial association taking its outing in this city next June. “The Great Northern Editorial association will meet at Bemidji for a few days next June. The com- mittee that selected that place had evidently been on the spot. The at- tendance will be large and the wel- come warm; for the Bemidji news- paper folks are the best ever.” Better come over, old fellow, and “have a few” of the hospitality that will be dealt out.
