Wise of Brainerd, one of the most prominent business men in northern Minnesota, passed through the city last evening on his way to Falls. He accom- panied the Masonic party to Fort Francis and attended the lodge meeting at that place. W. H. Strachan and a party of Masons from Brainerd passed through the city last evening, aboard the private car “50,” on their way to International Falls. They were joined here by H. J. Loud and G. A. Walker, and the entire party last night went over to Fort Francis and attended the insti- tuting of a Masonic lodge at that place. H. N. Harding of Cass Lake, cashier of the First National bank of that place, came over from his home yesterday evening and spent part of the night in the city, return- ing home on the night train.
