Mr. McPher- son returned to Walker this morn- ing. The Blackduck Employment com- pany sent eight men this morning to Hennepin Lumber company at this afternoon to Great Falls, Mont., where they will be employed by the Great Northern. W. C. Church of Des Moines, Iowa, who is interested quite ex- tensively in cedar properties in northern Minnesota, in company with Dr. Blakeslee, arrived in the city yesterday evening for a busi- ness visit of a few days in this vicinity. Dr. Foster, an old resident of Bemidji who now makes his home at Fosston, came up last evening from Hackensack, where he had been enjoying bass fishing for several days.
