A. C. Johnson, resident manager at Turtle River for the Kelso Lum- ber company, came down from Turtle this morning. Mr. Johnson states that the mill at Turtle will be put in operation again in a few days, with a full crew of employes. L. P. Gellerman of Fargo, travel- ing passenger agent for the North- ern Pacific railway, was a visitor in the city this morning, looking after business for his company. Mr. Gel- lerman asserts that Bemidji enjoys the. reputation abroad of being one of the “livest” cities of its size in the entire northwest.
