Eli Watkins of Dakota, was here toattend the funeral of his grandfather, Mr. Obedier. Mr. Obedier passed away Fri- day morning after a lingering ill- ness of eighteen mouths, He had reached the ripe age of eighty-two. He also was a veteran of the civil war. The funeral was held Sunday after- noon. It was conducted by the “Old Soldiers.” NUMBER OF VESSELS LOST.
