Duluth, June 28.—Three miners lost their lives in the Monroe mine. They were working in a drift when a blast brought down a mass of material, which shut them off from escape. The death of the men was due to noxious gases. Their names were Stephen| Williams, aged fifty-five; Harry Or| rebo, aged thirty-five, and Joe Visitine, | aged forty years.
