TO ABOLISH REBATES. 8weeping Decree Issued by Judge Seaman at Milwaukee.. Milwaukee, June 13.—A decree has been entered by United-States Circuit Judge W. H. Seaman in the so-called rebate case instituted by the govern- ment against the Milwaukee Refrig- erator Transit company, the Pere Mar- quette Railroad company, the Erie Railroad company, the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad company, the St. Louis and San Francisco Rail road company, the Wisconsin Central Railroad company and the Pabs! Brewing company in which a decision was handed down by the United States circait court about a week ago As far as the Pabst Brewing coi pany is concerned the suit is dis- missed on its merits and an injunction will not be issued agaizst it. The decree is swecling in its na- ture and restrains and perpetually en- joins the Milwaukee Refrigerator Transit company, its agents and rep- resentatives, from in any way solicit- ing, accepting and receiving, and tne defendant companies from paying. or giving, any rebates or concess! whatever. It enjoins them from car- rying or transporting in interstate or foreign commerce any freight or prop- erty whatever, pursuant to any agree- ment or arrangement whercby less rates are given than those given in the official tariffs published pursuant to acts of congress, whether such dim- inutions of rates be made under guise of commissions or otherwise.
