Tone passed through the city last night on his way home to Northome from St. Paul, where he appeared on be- half of the peoplein the county division matter. Mr, Tone stated that the Ripple petition was filed but thata question exists in the minds of the mem- bers of the state board as to whether or not both the Kooch- iching and Ripple petitions can be voted on at the same time. The board will not take this question up for consideration until after March 1.
