DEEPENS Whereabouts of John Syen- son, Missing Clearwater Man, Still Unknown. BROTHER MAKES SEARCH IN THIS CITY. Deseriptions of Man Who Was in Bemidji Recently and Missing Man Do Not Tally. The mystery surrounding the disappearance from his home in Eddy township, Clearwater, county, of John Svenson, on Dec. 28, 1s still unsolved, and although a vigorous search has been kept up inan attempt to locate the juissing man, no clue leading to his whereabouts has been found. Fifty men have spent the past three or four days in the vicinity of Svenson's cabin looking for his body, believing that it might be possible that in some manner he had met death, but up to the present time the search has proved entirely unavailing and not so much as an inkling as to what fate he has met, has been revealed. A brother of the missing man, Simon Svensen of Popple town- ship, accompanied by O. C. Noson, also of the same town- ship, arrived in Bemidji this af- ternoon to inquire into the story! recently published to the effect that Svenson had been in this city.
