FATAL TRAGEDY AT TERREBONE Prominent Farmer of Red Lake County Fatally Shot Last Saturday. B Thelandre, a wealthy farmer residing a few miles west of Plummer, was instantly killed at Terrebonne, Red Lake county, last Saturday. Arrested Last Night on Charge of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses. Thos. Halvorson, a. prominent farmer living at Mackinack, N, D., today made good a number was allowed to drop. Halvorson comes to Bemidji of horses which he hires out to the logging camps in this vicin- ity. Halvorson appeared in Bemidji again a couple of days ago, how- ever, but showed no disposition to take up the checks drawn by him, with the result that last night he was in taken charge by the sheriff on a charge of obtain- ing money under false pre- tenses.
