A number of them have published denials. The story however is substanti. ally true;all details of the sale have not been completed, but un- less something unexpected hap. pens the entire system of the Iron Range will be taken over at an early date by the Northwest- ern /COMPLETED TO NEBISH Telephone Line for New Red Lake Road Will Be Ex- tended to Agency. Frank Potter, who has had charge of the work of building the telephone line from this city northward for the Minneapolis, Red Lake & Manitoba railway, is in the city today, Mr. Potter states that the line has already been completed as far as Nebish and that it will be extended to Redby and from there to the Red Lake agency. The work of completing the system will take about 10 days more. The system will be composed of two lines, one of which will be used for commercial purposes and will be connected with the local Iron { Range exchange, the other to be used for railroad business only. AGED LADY IS CALLED HOME Mrs. Helena Bilden Died at St. Anthony’s Hospital Yesterday Afternoon. Mrs. Helena Bilden, aged 53 years, died at St. Anthony’s hospital yesterday afternoon be- tween 4 and 5 o’clock after an illness with a cancer of the liver. Mrs, Bliden came from Norway to Bemidji about two months ago and has been a resident of this city ever since. She was mother of Mrs. J. Johnson and Mrs. P. Lindeberg of Bemidji.
