CASS LAKERS WON THE GAME Lbeal High School Football Team Defeated Saturday —Secore 11 to 0. In the first. game of the season, the Bemidji High School football team was defeated at Cass Lake Saturday afternoon by the high school team of that city by a score of 11 to 0. All the scores secured by Cass Lake were made in the first half of the game, the Bemidji men easily holding their own in the second half, although they were unable to score. The members of the Cass Lake eleven were much heavier than the Be- midji men, and itis estimated that they were from one to one and one-half years older per man than the Bemidji players. The Bemidjites were well treated, however, and enjoyed a delight- fultime at the "hands of their en- tertainers. A return game will be played in Bemidji in the near fature. ~ Killed in Soo Wreck.
