DETROIT LINE WILL BE BUILT oAl P Indications Are That Survey Recently Completed Means Another Road. There is very good reason to belieye that the railway company bzhind the’ Detroit-Bemidji sur- vey which was recently complet- ed by Engineer Abbott will actually build a line to this city from Detroit. Several things which lead some to believe that the line will be constructed have transpired during the last few days. Among these things is the starting out by the Red River Lumber comrany of a crew of engineers who will survey a branch line from the main sur- vey. The spur will join the main line near Mallard and will tapa large area of valuable pine lands owned by the Red River company in the vicinity of that village. It is thought that this indicates the practical certainty of the build- ing of the road between Bemidji and Detroit. ¥ CORRESPONDENCE 7 " State of Minnesota, county of Beltrami ss.
