About 35 guests were present and the evening was spent in games, after which re-< freshments were served. No Cement Cross Walks. The city council last night de- cided not to erect cement cross walks on Bemidji avenue, for the present at least. The city’s finances are not in such condition as to allow the expenditufe of an amount sufficient to construct the walks, and the council will defer the building of the walks until the sale of the city bonds recently voted is accomplished.
