The following resolution was introduced by Bailey seconded by Swedback,—Whereas it ap- pears from the report of the re- corder and treasurer of the yil- lage of Bemidji, that there are at the date hereof, village orders of this village legally issued and due, outstanding and unpaid | which with accrued interest thereon amount to the aggregate sum of ten thousand dollars ($10- 000.00), and—Whereas it appears to the satisfaction of the village council that the revenue of the|: village from all sources, includ- ing liquor licenses, fines, ete., | will not more than pay the run- ning expenses thereof, for the | remainder of this fiscal year; now, therefore be it resolved that the village of Bemidii issue its negotiable bonds pursuant to the | provisions of Chapter 123, Gen-|" eral Laws of the State of Minne- sota for the year 1905, in the sum | & of ten thousand dollars to pay said outstanding village the said bonds to be divided into denomi- nations of ten (10) one thousand 8| dollar (§1,000.00 bonds, to date from September 1st, 1905, and maturing in ftifteen (15) years B from September 1st, 1905, and bear interest at the rate of five not adapted to the kind of work that vessels of this class are expected to do.” ' TRANSMISSISSIPPI CONGRESS.
