Early Thursday morning the Lengby Brick and Tile plant suf- tered a bad fire, destroying the engine house completely and a big share of their saw mill. The Lengby Fire Department were handicapped by the headway the flames had made before dis- covered. The loss will be large but how much is not yet known. The state free employment bureau is receiving twice as many applications from farmers for help as there are men to fill the places. This proportion is constantly increasing and it is belieyed that this will be record year for high wages in the harvest field.
