How They Do It. WE are sometime apt to think that all this talk for a systematic campaign of advertising of the state’s resources is one part sense and three parts sentiment. Yet how are we going to account for the steady rush of settlers to the western lands of Canada? The great land seekers boom is over. Men have to be shown now; the wild rush is done. Yet Canadian land agencies pr‘esent proof that the immigration to Canada this year is fifty per cent greater than last year and that the coming year will seean in- crease of notless than 40 per cent, and we know that Canada is carrying out the most elaborate and systematic advertisment of its lands of any country on the face of the earth.
