This means you. A few do not care to decide for the many or to spend the many’s money, There is but one thing needed to make Bemidji the best town in north ern Minnesota and that is for every business man in the town to put his shoulder to the wheel and push—all together. The best way to push right now isto at- tend the Business Men’s Club meeting. It makes no difference whether you are a member or how small your business is: you are needed there, and it will pay you to come. Here are some importent mat- ters that need unity of action. Lending systematic aid to the census enumerator to see that Bemidji gets it full count. Making the Fourth of July cele- bration a complete success. Promoting the Bible Study Con- ference and the Chautauqua idea. Plans for further beautifying the city. Action favorable to the location of factories and wholesale houses in Bemidji. Building county roads out of town. e every business man in Bemidji can stand no matter what his creed or politics. Don’t think you are too busy to come to the meeting tonight. If you stay away you will be neg- lecting a big thing for little things. It does not make any difference if you know that nine- ty-nine business men are going | to the meeting; you are needed too. There is an enthusiasm in un ity and in number that pushes through to a successful conclu- sion projects which otherwise would not be attempted. If you are in anyway interest- ed in Bemidji, attend tonight’s meeting; it is your business. A Convention City. No crry in the northwest is so y | beautifully and conveniently lo- cated to be an ideal' convention city as Bemidji, As yet very few state or district societies have held their annual gather- ings in Bemidji because the ad- vantages of Bemidji have not been called to their attention. The suitability of this city for such gatherings is unusual and . |once a few conventions-have been held here societies of all kinds willbe eager to make Bemidji their annual headquarters for business and pleasure. Other cities in northern Minnesota, not nearly so well situated or pos sessed of so many natural advan tages, have by dint of continual effort come to be considered as natural points for the convenin- ing of all kinds of conventions, and they are now reaping arich reward for the labor they ex pended a few years ago.
