No. The Chiropractic and the Osteopath both aim to put in place that which is out of place, to right that which is wrong; but the Path- ology Diagnosis, Prognosis and Movements are ‘entirely Jifferent, One of my patients, Mr. W. Want to Look Pretty. THE state employment bureau announces that it is flooded with application for domestic servants, very few of which applications it is able to fill. “We have jobs for 200 domes- tic servants and dining room girls, but we can’t find the girls,” said an official of the bureau, “Bvery girl that comes along wants to be a clerk in-a store or to work at the typewriter or to do office work.” The officials of the bureau say that better wages are offered for domest.lc servants than for other work and that they cannot un- derstand the apparent aversion to domestic service. The matter is really a pretty serious phase of modern economics and it has steadily been growing more and more serious. Is it that the American girl is growing more ambitious or is it that sho is con tent to look pretty and k! ss money? We suspect that the latter bas a good deal to & with it as has the fact that the life of aclerk or an office girl brings her | imto contact with more people and there is a tendency among American women of all classes to beas much as possible in the bustle of the world. It is a de- plorable- fact that the woma whois content ‘with a home is’ growing rarer and rarer in this country. | THAT intoresting and mysteri- cus serial, “The Koch Trial,? will b3 run in the daily papers begin- ning next week for the third time.
