SWEDBACK reports that taking the census starts off fairly well but finds that the suggestion of the Pioneer that all be prepar- ed with the information has not been heeded, much time of the . unnecessarily taken and can easily be avoided by having the information as to ages, residence, birth place of self and parents ready when he calls. The Pioneer suggests that the enumerator be -furnished with a list of members of secret societies churches and clubs,and that ea.ch employer send a list of all em- ployees present or unfortunately absent. We owe it to ourselves that this census shows Bemidji’s full growth. Let us see that our others to do like wise.
