The horses became frightened and in spite of a desperate effort to check them they raced down the street and the sleigh was overturned near the Bazaar store, precipitat- ing Mr. Stewart to the ground. CHARTER MAY COME UP AGAIN Possibility That Charter Will Come Up Again At Spring Ele(;tion. It is a bare possibility that the charter prepared by the charter commission and voted upon at a special election last July will again-be presented at the coming spring election. One of the members of the commission stated this morning that is was probable that thedocument would again be submitted to the people but added that in the event the commission so decided it would be necessary to secure the ap- pointment of a number of new members to the commission to fill vacancies. Doyle, the man who is charged with having held up a Cass Lake saloon. Doyle was taken before Judge Spooner last night and was granted his liberty on bail in the sum of $2,200. Henry Funk- ley appeared for Doyle and County Attorney Daniel of Cass county represented the state, Matt Phelan, J. D. Jones, Harry Gillham, M. H. Fisher, Henry Baker and Robert Nelson are the bondsmen. Doyle will remain in Bemidji until the May term of the Cass county district court, when he will be taken to Walker for trial.
