No. The Chiropractic and the Osteopath both aim to put in place that which is out of place, to right that which is wrong; but the Path- ology Diagnosis, Prognosis and Movements are entirely different. One of my patients, Mr. W. A. Casler, has taken both Chiropractic and Osteopoth treatments. The Chiropractic is ten times more direct in the adjustments and the results getting health ten times more thor- ough in one tenth of the time than an Osteopath would. vmvvvvvvvv'vv: ‘v e 2 e 2P0 300 ol i 2 30 20 o P B 2B 0 B s < 3 o P S The Daily Pioneer PUBLISHED EVERY AFTERNOON. Official Paper Village of Bemidji SUBSCRIPTION $5 PER YEAR Content With the Husks. It appears that most of the present day statesmen are con- tent with the husks of states- menship. They all would rather be a senator of the United States than governor of a great state. Yet what is the United States senate? Merely a body of men who vote the dictates of the great trusts of the country. There is Depew for instance. doubtedly a great man, as men go, but.does anybody believe that he is in the United States senate to serve the people of New York? Does not everyone know that he is there to serve the railroads and other trusts of which he is a leading member? Depew is but one—the majority of the mem- bers of the senate are much alike him He is un- Perhaps there is more ease in being a United States senator than in being governor of a great state. The senator is a ‘‘great” man—and he has little to do be- yond worrying over his re-election at the end of his six year term. But the governor of a great state is a man who carries heavy responsibilities—a man whomust work hard would he serve his people well. The goyernoris the head of the state and the senator is merely a councellor, Yet so many resign the governorship to accept the senatorship. Isn’tit queer? Get Together. The Pioneer is in receipt of a letter from Representasive Cole concerning several bills now be- fore the legislature affecting the interests of this part of the state and suggesting that the Business Men’s Club of Bemidji would do well to send a delegation to St. Paul some time this week to ap- pear before a joint meeting house and senate committees on drain- age, immigration and public lands to give the views of this section of the state concerning the mat- ters mentioned. The suggestion is certainly one that is worth considering seri- ously. There is a vyariety of legislation touching northern Minnesota’s interests which is now urgently demanded and it is up to the people of this part of the state to show the legislature what we want. There can be little doubt that if delegations from the various towns and cities of northern Minnesota were to appear before the joint meeting of the committee named, very favorable legislation can be se- cured this winter. If action is takemn, 1t must be at once. We understand that several other towns have already arrang:ed to send delegations and it is up to Bemidji to play its part. CoLE YOUNGER wants to come back to Minnesota—right in the midst of this weather, too. ‘WHICH would you rather not be—the czar or a member of the code revision committee? dkbddbdddbddddddpddlpddds C.
