A petition is being circulated at Grand Rapids asking that the Iron Range Electric Telephone company make connection so that city will have long distance service to points west. At the present time the company’s line extends only to Cass Lalke, and consequently Grand Rapids can- not connect with Bemidji, Crooks- ton orany other cities on the line west.
