Spooner returned last night from the Twin Cities, where he has spent a week in conference with other judges of Northern Minnesota, the meet- ing being for the purpose of se- curing support for legislation favorable to the members of the bench from this part of the state. Fletcher Walker, son of the millionaire Minneapolis timber owner and speculator, was a vis- itor in Bemidji yesterday. Mr. Walker is looking after his fath- er’s interests in this section of the state and left this morning for Akeley, where the headquar- ters of the logging department are located, Mr. Wm. S.
