As a result of the failure of the Great Northern Railway com- pany to fulfill the orders of the state rallroad and warehouse cemmission to build a depot at Rosby, the people of that village are up in arms against the com- pany and will, unless the order of the commission is complied with in the near future, resort to strenuous measures to compel the building of the depot. The matter was taken up by resi- dents of Rosby with the railroad land warehouse commission last summer and resulted in their se- curing an order from the com: mission to the Great Northern to build a depot for the accommoda- tion of frieght and passeugers at Rosby by Jan. 1. Asyetnota move has been made by the com- pany to erect the depot, and the Rosby people will take action to find out the reason of the failure of the company to fulfill the order of the commission. and returned to’ Bemidji this morning, D. H. Jerrard Died at Calcite, Col., Yesterday. A telephone message from E. H. Jerrard, who has spent the vast few days visiting friends and relatives at his old home in St. Cloud,-states that yesterday at noon his father died in a hospi- tal at Sylida, Colorado, aged 75 years. Mr. Jerrard left immedi- ately for that city and will return to St. Cloud with the remains, which will be interred in the lows: J. P.
