Frank Benoit, the Crookston man, formerly a railway mail clerk on the Cropkston-Duluth line, who was indicted on a charge of embezzling from the United States mail, pleaded guilty in the U. S. circuit-court at Duluth yes- terday and was sentenced to a Yerm of eighteen months at hard labor in the state prison at Still- water. Benoit removed a small sum of money from a decoy let- ter sent to comfirm suspicions that he was robbing the mails and he was caught in the act of spending a marked piece of money. Deputy United States Marshal William Grimshaw will probably take Benoit to Still water next Saturday. Do Not. Suppress a Cough. When you have a cough do not try to suppress it, but remove the cause.
