No. The Chiropractic and the Osteopath both aim to put in place that which is out of place, to right that which is wrong; but the Path- ology Diagnosis, Prognosis and Movements are entirely different. One of my patients, Mr. W. A. Casler, has taken both Chiropractic and Osteopoth treatments. The Chiropractic is ten times more direct in the adjustments and the results getting health ten times more thor- ough in one tenth of the time than an Osteopath would. mmmtfi&m&&m&j ..HOLIDAY GOODS.. ‘We are headquarters for Watches, Diamonds, Clocks,Cut Glass and Silverware, in the finest Sterling and best quality plated ware. PIONEER PUBLISHING c0.| By R. W, HITCHCOCK. intered in the postoffice at Bemidji, Minn., as second class matter. Oificial County amd City Paper SUBSCRIPTION $5 PER YEAR A Revolution Under Our Noses. Awmong the many amazing changes which have taken place in the economic life of this coun- B t}y during the past few years, none have been more wonderful than the growth of the rural de- livery system. The rural delivery system is the mushroom of ye‘sterday but today it1s oyers: d .wing inim- portance the entire postal system of the country. One year ago there were 15,000 rural routes: today there are about 30,000, while the hunger of the people for the seryice is but whetted. But more amazing than the rapid growth of the service is the transformation in conditions of life which it is bringing about. The farmer begins to be a reader of daily papers. He is no lo;:lger a week behind the world. Heis as fully informed on social and political questions as is his neigh- bor of the city and the part which he plays in the settling of these questions grows larger and larger. The markets of the world are brought each day to his door and a great revolution in trade follows hard upon the es- tablishment of the rural delivery route. We have suddenly found our- selves in the midst of a wonder- ful revolution and it is yet hard to-measure how far it may go. THE Blackduck American says that the Pioneer has not yet given |one reason why Senator Clapp should not be elected. The American is right. In fact there are three or fouy which we have not given. It is enough that the republican party of Minnesota hias twice pledged itself to the senator’s reelection and that a majority of the members of the legislature have publicly prom- " |ised to vote for Senator Clapp in case they were returned. No- body denies that Senator Clapp isan able man and that he has { worghily represented the state. We believe that the republican party should keep its promises. If the Pioneer were an active personal adherent of Senator Clapp it might give a good. many other reasons, but as it is the above is sufficient. Ashburnham, Ont., April 18, 1903.—I think it is only right that I should tell you what a won- derful effect ~Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy has produced. The day before Easter I was so distressed with a cold and cough that I did not think to be able to take any duties the next day, as my voice was almost choked by the cough. The same day I re- ceived an order from you for a bottle of your Cough Remedy. L at once procured a sample bot- tle and took about three doses of the medicine. To my great relief the cough and cold had completely disappeared and I was able to preach threetimes on Easter Day. I know that this rapid and ef- fective cure was due to your Cough Remedy.
