Martin Knutson of Fergus Falls is visiting friends in the city. L. H. Although the secret has been jealously guarded for the past five years of Earl Barker’s residence in Bemidji, the fact that Mr. Barker is a real heavy weight pugilist has leaked out and an or- der for a pairof gloves received afew days ago’ hva St. Paul firm confirms the belief that a fight between Mr. Barker and another well known ring man will be ar- ranged in the near furture. The date when the mill will be pulled off has not yet been decided upon, but it is understood that the com- batants will begin hard training exercises at once.
