WITHDRAWN Attorney Gibbons Decides Not to Prosecute Election Contest For Attorney. E. F. Crawford, who has been attorney for the different candi- dates who contested the elections held at Tenstrike and Port Hope has given notice that the contest of John F. Gibbons, who was a preprimary candidate for county attorney, has withdrawn and that he will not appear to sup port the claims made in the com- plaint. The contests of H. J. Swedback for register of deeds and of A. O. Johnson for commis- sioner will be heard by Judge Spooner tomorrow forenoon at 10 o’clock, and Messrs. Danaher and Harris will be asked to show cause why the names of Swed- back and Johnson should not be placed upon the official ballot at the election in November. Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy.
