Ihavesold Chamberlains Cough Remedy for more than twenby years and it has given entire sat- isfaction. I have sold a pile of it and can recommend it highly.— Joseph McElhiney, Linton, Iowa. fever has not been high at any At a meeting of the republican state central committee at St. Paul yesterday an executive committee consisting of one mem ber from each congressional district was appointed. Senator A. D. Stephens of Crookston is the member for the ninth dis-| trict. PR One of the richest campaign dodges that has ever been sprung| in Clearwater county for all hands to take a finger in the pie, is the “county removal or rather county annexation scheme” where by Fosston is to become the county seat of Clearwater county, The dodge was first sprung last spring, to head off a certain individual in Clearwater ¢ounty who was endeavoring to get hold on the political machin- ery of the county. The second time it was sprung, it had the object in view of cutting down the majority of Dr.L. L. May- land, the candidate for repre- sentative in Clearwater county. But the last to spring it and to work both end against the mid- dle is Representative Simons who wants to be re-elected. He has worked the dodge to a finish. First he lands in Bagley, and if he is elected representative, he| will see that the county seat re- mains where it is. Then he goes to Shevlin, the rival town and tells the good people of that place, that if Dr. L. L. Mayland | is ever elected representative, there is no hopes of the county of Clearwater ever being annexed to eastern Polk county as all of the Doctor’s interests are at Bagley and he would certainly stay by the town where his inter- ests are, but that if he was elected, he would see that Shev- lin got a square deal in the mat- ter, if they staid by him. Now he has both sides lined upand the fight is becoming an inter- esting one, or rather was until the people of the two towns got to comparing notes. The com- parison will cost Simens what few votes he would have had in the county. Annual Fall Excursions to Detroit, Buffalo; Intermediate Points. One of my patients, Mr. W. A. Casler, has taken both Chiropractic and Osteopoth treatments. The Chiropractic is ten times more direct in the adjustments and the results getting health ten times more thor- ough in one tenth of the time than an Osteopath would. e B B B ‘.&hm&m&s Season Open GAME--BIRDS--Sz:0n % Chxckens, Sep. 1to Nov. 1; Wild Ducks, any variety,Sep. 1to Dec! 1.
