IA USEM N’I‘S|' Sheeley and young’s big musi- cal comedy ‘-Moloney’s Wedding Day,, new in everything but the title comes to the City Opera House on Sept. 7. ¢“Maloney’s Wedding Day” is a farce comedy, pure and simple, a farce played by real comedians, singers and dancers—a farce filled to the brim with catchy music. There is nothing which is coarse, vulgar or suggestive and one may laugh consumedly over its sallies, its “mix-up,” and its dialogue, with the assurance that, if laughter be medicine, herein is an excellent tonic for melancholia. It is full of gaiety sparkle and vim and is laughable even in its most quiet moments. To the brilliant music of the play is added the music of merry peals of laughter which the performance provokes. Tips of the Tongue Earl Geil: “A team ought to be kept atthe fire hall to haul the firemen to the scene of the fire} After running several blocks to the hall the firemen are nearly played out and as a result some- times make slow progress.’’ C. S. Dailey: “We are re- ceiving a large number of orders for men but they are hard to fill, as very few men arein the city at present. Logging operations have commenced in various sec- tions of Northern Minnesota, and from now on there will bea steady demand for men. T00 LATE T) CLASSIFY. All yesterday and today the search for the body of James Mafreagh, was continued in the Rivard & Wold building, which was destroyed by the explosion of an acetylene gas plant Satur- day night, but no trace of him has been found. Only one corner of the building remained to be searched and itis believed that nothing will be found there. The condition of Gus Rivard is very serious and the Cass Lake lodge of Bagles has sent to Brain- erd for Dr. Camp to hold consul- tation with the attending sur- geons. Amputation of the leg may be necessary. His partner, Iver Wold, and John Johnson are getting along nicely. i POLITICS I Attorney John Gibbons candi- dacy for county attorney is said to be meeting with increasing favor throughout the county, Mr. Gibbons is an able attorney and a popular attorney and every one who knows him, regardless of political affiliations, knows that if he becomes county attor- ney he will administer the office with absolute impartaility and solely in the interests of the people of the county. Mr. Gib- bons is not only a well read law- yer but a man of great strength of character and as county attor- ney he would be fearless in the discharge of his duties. The office is an important one to the people of the county and no man is better qualified by natural talents and by education for the position than is Mr. Gibbons. County Auditor Sylvester is making no campaign for re-nomi- | nation for the reason that he is too busy discharging the duties |5 Almost everyone 5: in the county is acquainted with | of his office. Mr, Sylvester and has done busi- ness with him at the auditor’s office. No more obliging, courte- ous official was ever elected in this or any other county and this united with the well known fact that Mr. among the auditors of the state should make him the choice of the people even though he has not time to travel over the coun- try to interview the voters per- sonally. A man who can attend strictly to the duties of his office and leaye the matier of his re- nomination to the people them- selves is a pretty safe man to|® have in office, Andy Danaher has filed for commissioner in the fifth district. Up to the time of Mr. Danaher’s filing Commissioner Johnson has bad no opposition. Mr. Danaher has many friends and will make a hard fight but Commissioner Johnson has madea very able commyjssioner and has taken good care of his district in every re- spect so that the people of the district will undoubtedly return him to office. Violent Attack of Diarrheoa Cured by Chamberlain’s Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy and Perhaps a Life Saved. “A short time ago I was taken with a violent attack of diarrhoea and believe T would have died if I had not gotten relief,”” says John J. JOHNSONS RHEUMATISM and BLOOD CURE are not satisfied with results. Sylvester ranks high |} ‘When a child I had a very severe at- tack of Diphtheria, which came near prov- ing fatal. Uponrecovery the glands of the neck were very much enlarged, and after the free use o{ iodine, the right one was reduced to its normal size, but the left one continued to grow—very slowly at first, until it was about the sizeof a goose egg, which began to press on the wind- pipe, causing difficult breathing, and be- came very painful. An incision was made and a lar fe quantity of pus discharged. The gland was removed, or as much as could with safety be tnken out. For ten yearsI wore alittle piece of cloth aboutan inch long in my neck to kee ecp the place open. During this time I had to have it cut open by the doctor every time I took cold or the opening clogged. In the Sprin, or early Summer of 1884 I was persuade by my wife to use S. . 5., which I did, strictly in accordance with directions, I took twenty-six large bottles, and was en- tirely cured, for I have not suffered since that time. Are Chiropractic Adjustments the same a.s Osteopath Treatments? No. The Chiropractic and the Osteopath both aim to put in place that which is out of place, to right that which is wrong; but the Path- ology Diagnosis, Prognosis and Movements are entirely different. One of my patients, Mr. W. A. Casler, has taken both Chiropractic and Osteopoth treatments. The Chiropractic is ten times more direct in the adjustments and the results getting health ten times more thor- ou;:l\ in one tenth of the time than an Osteopath would. MMMM&“&&MM‘!
