ARMERS MEETING State Farmers Institute Corps Conduct Sessions in Bemidji. TALKS ESPECIALLY ADAPTED TO CONDITIONS IN BELTRAMIL Prof. Hoverstad, J. A. Wilson, 8. J. Fairfield and Prof. A, J. Mc- Guire In Attendance. The second annual meeting of the state farmers institute corps in Bemidji ¢onvened this morn ine. The attendance at . the meeting was not large, and regu- lar routine business was first at- tended to. The meeting ad- journed until this afternoon, and a large number of farmers are present. Lectures by different members s were heard this af Prof. Hoy ad, of Crookston, gave an ¢xcellent talk on general farmingand J. A. Wil- son interested the meeting with a discussion of the i nt cattle and on dairy /topics ally. - S. - J. - Fairfield, member of the corps, addressed the meeting in a highly intelli- gent manner on potato raising, and Prof. A. J. McGuire, of Grand Rapids, delivéred a few remarks. The institutes held througout the state under the direction of the state institute corps have been largely attended, and have been a source of benefit to the farmers-who-take advantage of them.
