Despite the fact that Judge Collins has held office for thirty years the Crookston Times calls attention to the fact that no one of his supporters has r named Jone act ot his as a public ofticial, as a reason why he shoull be a governor. He bas served in the legislature, on the distriet bench and on the supreme bench dur- ing the most critical time of the state, yet as far as sunpormrs know, he never helped pas and never wrote a decision that fought campaign. Thirty years a public official he has absolutely no record to turn to or public act that he can refer to with pride. His whole campaign has con- sisted of attacks upon his oppo- nent’s private character and in- sinuations as to his public record. On the contrary Mr. Dunn has conducted a campaign squarely on hus record both in fhe legisla- ture and as state auditor. Early the Dunn clubof Princeton issued a pamphlet covering most of that record and to this day not one statement in_ it has been de- a nied or questioned by Judge Col- lins or any supporter of hiz.
