It is noticeable that all the talk of a third candidate comes from the supporters of Judge Collins.. They are disgusted with ‘“‘the dirty fight”” they say, and *while they would like to see Judge Col- lins governor they would welcome the candidacy of some strong third man. Judge Co]lmsmmost unfortunate in being merely a tqol in the hands of the present administration which is’ deter- mined to continue itself in power if it has to besmirch the charac- ter of every man in Minnesota in order to do it. To this end it has used and is still using the oftice of public examiner of the state as a political bludgebn. Through the pubiic examiner the admin- istration has started a campaign of villification which it still con- tinues meanwhile crying out be- cause the good name of Judg Collins has been dragged in the dirt. *No wonder the friends of Judge Collins want to quit. A Success.. 1f the Business Men’s Club of Bemidji were never tohold an- other . meeting the time, labor and money which has been spent in the/organization-of the club wguld still be a most profitable investment to the business men of Bemidji.
