This seems to be the question which confronts Minnesota at the present time in the canvass for the republican nomination for governor. Long before Rob- bert C. Dunn announced his can- didacy there was voiced through- out the length and breadth of the state ‘a demand for his nomina- tion. The demand came from the people, the merchants in the town and the farmers in the country. No other man was talked of. Dunn’s record for efficiency had made him the logi- cal candidate. A logical candidate never suits the politicians. He does not owe them anything. He serves the || people and not the politicians.
